HTML Day is a free, beginner-friendly annual celebration of HTML! It's a day to gather IRL in places around the world to write and learn about it!
HTML is how websites are made! The page you are looking at at this very moment was made using it! You too, can make something snappy :3
The planning is still in its early stages, and having an estimate of how many people might show up will help a lot. Please RSVP! And! While the event itself might be free, the (non-profit, trans-led) community center it'll be hosted at could use some donations to stay afloat, so while it may be optional, it very much is reccomended that if you show up, you bring some spare change to donate to the place! The center is very dear to many :) But once again, if you can't afford to chip in, you're fine :D we still love you!
